The owner is an unpleasant person, the restaurant is very old, smelly, the food is not fresh or tasty. A woman with a toddler came in, asking if she can use the washroom to change her toddler, he refused and kicked her out. His reaction was so unexpected! Who would refuse a little child to use their facility! Avoid this place at any cost!
The food is really good when you finally get it the first time we went we ordered food and it took a hour to get it at the time there were only 2 other people in there. Today at 2pm I went by to order sandwiches I love their chicken salad there was trash and beer bottles everywhere outside and they were closed! Their website said they open at 11
Unique, laidback setting. It was great to sit outside, watch the planes take off and land, play cornhole, and listen to live music. Pet friendly, too. We were there on a Wednesday and they have a Wine Down Wednesday special. However, it took a very long time to get our appetizer and then our meal. Had to go inside and order our beers ourselves. If service had been quicker, I'd give 5 stars.
I live visiting this place whenever I'm in Alabama especially in the summer when they have live music on the weekends. Staff is always friendly and I love that the food is made from scratch. The best friend pickles anywhere!
Love the concept of this place as you can sit outside on a nice evening enjoying a cocktail and a bite to eat. They have improved outdoor area with built in tables, however, grounds are nasty with cigarette butts and dog pooh. This is unappetizing. I think its great they allow dogs, but pet owners should be encouraged to clean up after them and if they don't, they employees should make sure environment clean and neat. Food and service is hit and miss.
