My American got a Cornia ulcer in her left eye. Dr Suzan N and her staff were thorough and gentle with my dad's baby. Made sure we're ok with everything and made a estimate.
This staff has been so professional, accessible, and friendly. We brought her in at the last minute for an eye condition that developed overnight. Our normal eye vet couldn't see her until MAYBE the next day. Luckily, Dr. Nelms was able to work her in and we saved the vision in her remaining eye. In addition, I was able to bring our dog back 2 days later when her eye did not improve. Someone always answers the phone and is able to answer questions. Great ocular veterinarian! Would highly recommend.
Today I picked up my dog Suzie from having both of her cataracts removed. She is doing great! I wanted to cry when she started wagging her tail like crazy and ran straight into my daughters arms when she got home, because she could see her for the first time in a month! I am a Vet in Birmingham as well, but we don't do cataract surgery. I have used Dr. Nelms and Dr. Korsch for years for all of my precious patients and personal pets. They are outstanding in skill and expertise, as well as kindness and compassion. Their emergency facility, Dr. Ray, ER doctors, and staff are fantastic as well.They are my first choice for my very sick patients that require 24 hour intensive care. Advanced Veterinary Care loves this group!

Impressive is not the word for the facility or staff. They are eye specialist but offer 24 hour emergency service also.
